FOR PD-
Diagnosis of PD, based on UK brain bank criteria for diagnosis of PD.
Hoehn and Yahr stage from 1 to3.
On stable dopaminergic drugs for at least 30 days
FOR SCA-
Genetically confirmed SCA-2 and SCA-12.
Subjects 30 and above on stable medication for at least 30 days.
Features suggestive of other causes of Parkinsonism or Parkinson plus syndrome.
Subjects with neuropsychiatric co-morbidity
Subjects with hypertension or diabetes would be excluded if uncontrolled on drugs.
Subjects with pregnancy.
Subjects with any orthopedic illness (arthitis etc.)
