入选标准
- •Patient aged between 19-65 years of both sexes with ASA grade I-II undergoing surgery requiring internal jugular venous access will be included.
排除标准
- •oAge <18 years,
- •oPatient refusal.
- •oNeck surgery,
- •oBleeding disorder,
- •oBody Mass Index (BMI) of >35kg/m2 for both males & females,
- •oInfection or phlebitis at the site of insertion,
- •oCongestive heart failure,
- •oPulmonary or tricuspid valve stenosis/regurgitation,
- •oPulmonary hypertension,
- •oSevere obstructive pulmonary disease,
- •oPrevious CVC insertion within 15 days,
- •oEmergency surgery.
