•Diagnostic criteria: Refer to the latest diagnostic criteria for metabolic syndrome published in the 2017 Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Diabetes in China, as follows: ?Abdominal obesity (central obesity): waist circumference =90 cm in men and =85 cm in women. ?Hyperglycemia: Fasting blood glucose =6.1 mmol/L or 2h blood glucose =7.8 mmol/L after glucose load and/or those who have been diagnosed with diabetes and treated. ?Hypertension: blood pressure =130/85 mmHg and/or those who have been confirmed as hypertension and treated. ? Fasting TG=1.70 mmol/L. ? Fasting HDL-C <1.04 mmol/L. Three or more of the above can be diagnosed. ?Age between 18-90 years old; ?Patients in the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Traditional Chinese Medicine Research Institute, Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Outpatient, Physical Examination Center, and Inpatient Department; ?The data is complete.

•?Severe heart, liver and kidney dysfunction (serum creatinine clearance rate <30ml/min, alanine aminotransferase =2.5 times the upper limit of normal, total bilirubin =1.5 times the upper limit of normal; chronic cardiac insufficiency, cardiac function classification III and above) ?Patients with malignant tumors ?Patients with new cardio-cerebrovascular diseases in the past six months ?Patients with acute infection ?
