Dhoomapana is a therapy mentioned in Ayurveda for various oral, respiratory as well as head and neck related disorders . Dhoomapana is found to be effective
treating various respiratory disorders and is widely used by Ayurved practitioners. We are evaluating the effect of Dhoompana patients in managing symptoms
and improving quality of life in lung cancer patients.

Inclusion Criteria
- Patient diagnosed with Lung cancer or Lung metastasis.
- Willing to undergo treatment with Dhoomapana.
Exclusion Criteria
- Patients who was suffering from any concomitant illness or taking any concomitant medication which in the opinion of investigator would have confounded with outcome efficacy variables.
- Patient who were receiving Opoid analgesics.
- Patient who were receiving other CAM modalities.

Name Time Method For assessment of efficacy, tolerability and safety of dhoomapana it is planned to use a self designed questionnaire called Dhoomapana Efficacy and safety assessment questionarrie.(DESA) Each patient will be followed for a study duration of six months. | Study variable will be tested at a intervals of one month.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method for assessing disease specific efficacy the disease specefic component of Functional assessment of cancer therapies (FACT) questionarrie will be used. Each patient will be followed for a study duration of six months.
