Inclusion Criteria
- •ASA 1 and 11 patients undegoing elective thoracic or lumbar spine surgery
Exclusion Criteria
- •hypertention, coronary artery desease, cardiac arrythmia, on alpha 2 agonist, morbid obesity, planned for elective postoperative mechanical ventilation, pregnant , breast feeding, history of heart block, heart rate \<60\. on beta blocker
