Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Critically ill patients admitted to ICU
  • •AGE LIMIT: 18 years and above

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Patients with documented hypomagnesemia / hypermagnesemia before admission to ICU
  • •-Patients with previous magnesium supplementation
  • •-Mortality within 24 hours of admission to ICU
  • •-Critically ill patients in ICU in whom day 1 of serum magnesium testing is missed .
