•1. USG documented grade 1 (mild) and grade 2 (moderate) non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
•2. Patients complaining dull ache or heaviness in the right upper quadrant (right hypochondrium).
•3. Patients having symptoms like maliase and dyspepsia.
•4. Irrespective of any gender.
•5. Patients in the age group of 18-65 years.
•6. Patients who have BMI < 34.9Kg/m2.
•7. Those patients who are willing to give consent.

•1. Patients having USG documented fatty liver Grade 3 or above.
•2. Patients with history of Alcoholic fatty liver disease.
•3. Patients with history of chronic renal disorders.
•4. Patients below the age of 18 and above the age of 65 years respectively.
•5. Patients with BMI >34.9 kg/m2.
•6. Patients priorly diagnosed with cholecystitis and cholelithiasis.
•7. Patients having uncontrolled diabetes mellitus.
•8. History of liver transplantation.
•9. Lactating mother and pregnant women.
•10. Patients already diagnosed with liver disorders other than non alcoholic fatty liver disease like Cirrhosis, viral hepatitis etc.
•11. Patients who fail to give consent.
•12. Patients taking lipid lowering drugs/ statins.
