Inclusion Criteria
Consent of patients to participate in the study
Suffering from thalassemia major treated with periodic pac cell transfusion
Ferritin level above 500
Exclusion Criteria
Reluctance to continue studying
Occurrence of skin complications or other symptoms suggestive of sensitivity to chicory plant extract
Viral hepatitis

Name Time Method Iron deposition in the liver. Timepoint: Measurement of Iron deposition in the liver at the beginning of the study (before the start of the intervention), 3 months after consuming chicory. Method of measurement: MRI.
