Adult, asymptomatic patients (>18 years) who underwent carotid TEA due to high-grade arterial stenosis at the Clinic for Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Surgery Heidelberg from 2003 onwards
Adult, asymptomatic patients (>18 years) who underwent carotid TEA due to high-grade arterial stenosis at the Clinic for Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Surgery Heidelberg from the start of the study.
Underage patients
Lack of consent if the patient is capable of giving consent or if the patient lacks the capacity to give consent in the short or long term.
