· This study would put forth the utility of Arthrocentesis as an adjunct procedure with closed reduction in high condylar fractures, to provide improvement in the functionality of condyle, relief in pain, increase in mouth opening and bite force, Stablise bilateral occlusion, and normal excursive moments.

入选标准
- •Patients with unilateral high condylar fractures. 2)Sagitally fractured unilateral high condylar fractures. 3)Intracapsular fractures in unilateral condyle 4)Patients with panfacial fractures including unilateral high condylar fractures. 5)Patients within age group of
- •60 years. 6)Patients with ASA Gr I status.
排除标准
- •Patients with bilateral high condylar fractures.
- •Subcondylar fractures 2)Patients with Extra- capsular fractures of condyle.
- •Patients with H/O medical comorbidities contraindicating closed reduction of condyles (ex- epilepsy).

主要结局
Reduction in pain as measured on VAS score panel And Increase in Mouth opening (inter-incisal distance)
时间窗: Reduction in pain as measured on VAS score panel And Increase in Mouth opening (inter-incisal distance). Following Parameters will be assessed on 7th post operative day, 1st and later at 3rd month
次要结局
- Increased Bite force, Improved occlusal stability, Smooth Lateral excursive movements(over 3-6 week period)
