Inclusion Criteria

1. >=18 years of age, male, or female

2. Patients with newly diagnosed CAD for which coronary angioplasty is done with

stent (s)

3. Patients on dual antiplatelet therapy including aspirin and one of the P2Y12 inhibitors

i.e. clopidogrel, ticagrelor or prasugrel.

Exclusion Criteria

1. Patients with the history of CAD, CABG and/or angioplasty

2. Hb < 10 g% (in both male and female)

3. Patient with decompensated heart failure

4. Patients with metabolic syndrome

5. History of chronic kidney disease

6. History of malignancy

7. History of psychiatric illness

8. History of chronic hepatic disease

9. History of bleeding diathesis

10. Pregnancy and lactation

11. Any other medication that might effects of study drugs eg: rifampicin, phenytoin,

carbamazepine

12. Any other medical condition that, in the opinion of the investigator, may be an

unacceptable additional risk to the patient

13. Patients on antithrombotic agents including antiplatelet drugs, anticoagulants and

thrombolytic drugs for any other reason

14. Patients with history of CVA, TIA, acute or chronic pulmonary embolism or any valvular

heart disease for which he/she was on antithrombotic, anticoagulants and antiplatelet

drugs

15. Patientâ??s participation in any other clinical trial with an investigational treatment
