In order to increase mouth opening in Oral submucous fibrosis patients, ozonated olive oil was used to compare the wound healing and postoperative pain after scalpel and LASER fibrotomies.

Inclusion Criteria

1) The patients have not undergone any surgical treatment for OSMF.

2) The patients having inter-incisal mouth opening 20 mm or < 20 mm (for good accessibility and and visibility) will be a part of the study.

Exclusion Criteria

1)Patients with tempero-mandibular joint problems or trismus caused by something other than OSMF.

2)Immune-compromised patients and those with bleeding disorders.

3)Patients clinically diagnosed OSMF with leukoplakia, erythroplakia or lichenoid lesion and having other mucosal diseases.
