Inclusion Criteria
1.Patients between 18-65 yrs of age
2.All Patients who undergo cardiac surgery electively
3.Patients with pain score two and above.
4.Patients who can read and write English, Tamil, Hindi,Malayalam, Telugu &Bengali.
Exclusion Criteria
I.Patients who are on continuous sedation and intake of pain killers or anti inflammatory drugs within 3 hours of duration.
II.Patients on support of mechanical ventilation , inotroph infusion
III.Patients with diabetic neuropathy, pedal edema

Name Time Method Reduction in pain and anxiety as measured by Numerical Pain Rating Scale and beck Anxiety InventoryTimepoint: Reduction in pain will be measured at an interval of 30 minutes 60 minutes and 90 minutes using numerical pain rating scale and anxiety will be measured at 90 minutes using Beck Anxiety Inventory
