Participants must be in the scope of the rehabilitation treatment standards chronic back pain of the German Pension Fund.
Exclusion Criteria
- insufficient German language skills, the questions are in german
- no evidence of acute, dangerous diseases (red flags)

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The primary outcome is the function ability measured by the questionnaire Funktionsfragebogen Hannover (FFbH-R) used at the beginning, the end and six months after the rehabilitation
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Secondary endpoints are the self-reported disabilities through pain measured by the Pain Disability Index (PDI), the intensity of pain measured by the numerical rating scale (NRS) as well as psychological symptoms gathered by the patient health questionnaire (PHQ-4). The questions are contained in the questionnaire at the beginning, the end and six months after rehabilitation.<br>Adding to the above mentioned questions the success of rehabilitation will be assessed at the third wave (six months) by items, which are also asked in the routine survey of the German pension fund (DRV). <br>The therapeutic application, aftercare recommendations and the medical performance rating will be extracted from the discharge letters.
