• Pregnant women of any age and parity with gestational age more than 28 weeks scheduled for primary caesarean section.
• Patients who are willing to follow up in UCMS & GTB Hospital.
1. Patients with infections like Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, Syphilis.
2. Patients with leaking per vaginum more than 18 hours or chorioamnionitis.
3. Any febrile illness.
4. Patients with moderate to severe anemia (Hb less than 10 gm%) or thrombocytopenia.
5. Any dermatological infection around surgical site.

Name Time Method REEDA (Redness, Edema, Ecchymosis, Discharge, Approximation) score in HAM dressing & non-HAM dressing group.Timepoint: Day 3, day 8 & day 42

Name Time Method 1. Total number of patients with superficial & deep caesarean site infection in both the groups. <br/ ><br>2. Adverse events like pain, swelling, discharge, dehiscence in both the groups. <br/ ><br>3. Organisms associated with caesarean surgical site infection in both the groups. <br/ ><br>4. Total length of hospital stay due to wound morbidity in both the groups.Timepoint: Day 3, day 8 & day 42
