简要总结
Marma is considered to be one of the important vital spot in human body and injury to it leads to death or gives misery to individual similar to death. Description of 107 marmas given by all Acharyas being classified into five varieties on the basis of involved structures, five on the basis of effect of injury and five on the basis of location in the body.
Acharya Sushruta has roughly mentioned the site of Koorchasira marma below the Gulpha sandhi but the exact location is not pointed out by any Acharyas. He also mentions presence of Marma as Ubhayatah but the exact meaning of which is nowhere mentioned. The anatomical structures which are involved in this particular Marma are also not revealed. The knowledge of location and structures involved is very important from the point of critical analysis of its Marmabhighata where in Padagata Koorchasira Marmabhighata Lakshanas are Ruja and Shopha. All marmas are having five Marma Vastus, where Koorcasira has Snayu Vastu predominance which has to be critically analyzed

- •Patients willing to give the consent.

- •Subjects with systemic diseases, amputated leg and carcinoma.
