Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •indication for total hip arthroplasty
- •BMI\< 30 kg/m2
- •candidates for both approaches
- •candidates for uncemented prothesis age \< 80 year; ASA\-classification I en II
- •general anesthesia
- •primary arthritis
Exclusion Criteria
- •previous surgery on the affected hip
- •inflammatory polyarthritis
- •candidates for cemented prothesis
- •spinal anesthesie
- •fractures; ASA\-classification III en IV;
- •previous six months an cerebral vascular accident or a trans ischemic accident; age \<80 year;
