Inclusion Criteria
Individuals enrolled in the health teams of the Pituaçu family health units and Pituaçu Park; daily or near-daily pain for at least six months; between the ages of 18 and 60; who were literate.
Exclusion Criteria
Pregnant women; people with difficulties to understand the questionnaires; associated diseases that can reduce the level of quality of life;functional illiteracy.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Reduce pain intensity in four points on the Visual Analogue Pain Scale in individuals with chronic pain who participated in the health education program. The pain evaluation will be performed from the instruments that characterize the pain: Brief Pain Inventory and Visual Analog Pain Scale. This evaluation will happen in the pre and post test and will be performed with the 62 patients, in a time interval of 6 months.

Name Time Method To improve the quality of life of individuals with chronic pain who participated in the health education program. The quality of life will be assessed using the World Health Organization Quality of Life Scale.
