Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients of either sex, aged 18 years and above.
- •2\.Patients who have symptoms related to constipation (criteria for functional constipation and IBS\-C fulfilled for the last 3 months with symptom onset at least 6 months prior to inclusion into the study)
- •3\.Patients willing to sign the patient authorization form.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Pregnant or lactating women.
- •2\.Patients with intestinal obstruction (known or suspected).
- •3\.Patients with any disease with the potential to precipitate intestinal obstruction.
- •4\.Patients with acute abdomen (sudden, severe abdominal pain of unclear etiology).
