Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Adult female patients aged \=18 year who will undergo elective MRM surgery at the RIMS,
  • RANCHI and who met the criteria of classes I–III of the American Society of Anesthesiology
  • (ASA) classification will be eligible for inclusion in the study

Exclusion Criteria

  • Age \<18, pregnancy and refusal to participate in the study constituted the exclusion
  • criteria. Also, patients who would unconscious or mentally incompetent prior to surgery, or who
  • would in ASA classes IV or V, or had coagulopathy or hemodynamic instability (systolic blood
  • pressure \<90 mmHg, mean arterial pressure \<60 mmHg), or a history of opioid abuse or of
  • allergic reactions to opiates or to local anesthetic agents wil be excluded from the study
