入选标准
- •All Influenza A&B patients diagnosed during my study period in Kasturba Medical college are considered as a cohort among which following are considered to have severe disease and rest not having
- •severe disease .
- •Influenza patients with any one of the following is considered as severe influenza
- •1)Pneumonia-clinical and radiologically proven
- •2)Acute respiratory distress syndrome-Berlin criteria 2012
- •3)Acute kidney injury-KDIGO classification 2012
- •4)Hepatitis-Serum bilirubin more than 2mg/dl and AST/ALT ratio more than 2
- •5)Myocarditis-Electrocardiography,2D-ECHO,cardiac biomarkers.
- •6)Thrombocytopenia-platelet count less than one lakh per microliter
- •7)Encephalitis-altered sensorium, seizures
- •8)Septic shock-Survival sepsis guidelines

- •Who are unwilling to participate are not included, who are not admitted in Kasturba hospital.
