Inclusion Criteria
Patients fulfilling the diagnostic criteria and mild to moderate grade of Sandhi ruja (pain in joints), Sandhi Shotha (joint swelling)
Willing to participate in the study.
Exclusion Criteria
Chronicity for more than 5 years. Having severe crippling deformity. Patients who are unable to walk without support and/ or confined to wheel chair. Patients suffering from cardiac disease, Pulmonary Tuberculosis, Diabetes, Osteoarthritis, Vatarakta,pregnancy and Lactation and any other systemic illness. Patients on prolonged ( >6 weeks) medication with corticosteroids, antidipressants, anticholinergic etc. and any other drugs that may have an influence on the outcome of the study.
