简要总结
Darunaka correlated with pityriasis capitis is a common scalp disorder characterized by itching dryness scaling and hair fall it is described in ayurveda under kshudra roga shiro roga and kapalagata roga primarily involving vata kapha dosha imbalance.
Modern treatments mainly provide temporary symptomatic relief with frequent recurrence since darunaka predominantly involves kapha in the urdhwajatru region
vamana karma therapeutic emesis is indicated as a shodhana therapy to eliminate vitiated Doshas and restore balance Classical texts recommend performing Vamana in purvahna Kaala that is morning time
This study aims to compare the efficacy of vamana performed at two different morning timings 6 am and 8 am followed by pratimarsha nasya with bhringaraja taila in managing darunaka the objective is to determine whether the timing of vamana influences therapeutic outcome and to evaluate the combined effect of shodhana and nasya in reducing dandruff symptoms
Hence this study aims to assess a classical shodhana approach for better and sustained results
Sample size with 40 patients group a vamana at 6 am and group b vamana at 8 am both group receive pratimarsha nasya with bringaraja taila for 21 days after vamana
