Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • The patients aged between 18 to 35 years old.
  • \-All participants must have a healthy status (ASA class I and II )
  • \-Patients who have at least one impacted lower third molar without any inflammation or pathology that require both bone removal and tooth section.
  • \-Patient who is able to return for follow\-up on the scheduled date, 7 days after the surgery.

Exclusion Criteria

  • \-Patient who is allergic to medications used in this study
  • \-Patient during pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • \-Patient with systemic disease contraindicated to magnesium.
  • \-Patient with a psychiatric disorder
  • \-Patient with drug abuse
  • \-Patient with ongoing pain originated from mandibular third molar or orofacial region
  • \-Patient who currently taking medication that effects post\-operative pain or magnesium level
  • \-Patient who is unable to write the record form
