Brief Summary

**INTRODUCTION**

*Vatarakta*in *Ayurveda* is considered as one suchchronic illness. *Vatarakta*, a commonmetabolic disorder is a grievous medical condition present in society. *Vataraka* as the name suggests is thevitiation of *Vata Dosha* and *Rakta Dhatu* (blood). In this conditionthe normal Flow of *Vata* is obstructedby *Rakta Dhatu*. This obstructed *Vata* again vitiates the *Rakta,*

thispathological state is known as *Vatarakta.*In *Vatarakta* mainly small jointsof the feet and hands are affected. It is also called *Khuddavata, Vatabalasaka, Adhyavata, Vatashonita* etc.

*Vatarakta*is characterized by severe pain, tenderness, inflammation & burningsensation in the affected part of the body. Types of *Vataraka* include *Uttana,* *Gambhira, Vata Pradhan, Pitta Pradhana,Kapha Pradhana* and *Rakta Pradhana.*

Inclusion Criteria

Patients Between The Age Group Of 20-75 Years Of Either Sex Present With Clinical Features Of Vatarakta Well Diagnosed And Confirmed Case Of Vatarakta (Gout) Patients Having Serum Uric Acid Levels Of More Than 6 mg/dl To 12 mg/dl With Or Without Any Associated Features Like Joint Pain And Inflammation.

Exclusion Criteria

Patients Below 20 Years And Above 75 Years Will Be Excluded Pregnant And Lactating Mother Patients With Evidence Of Malignancy.
