1. Patient with primary pterygium stage 2, 3,4.
2. Patient age > 20 years.
3. Patient willing to give consent.
4. Patient undergoing pterygium surgery.
5. Pterygium causing unfavourable cosmetic appearance.
6. Visual impairment.
1. Patient aged < 20 years.
2. Patient with history contact lens wear , previous surgery ,
symblepharon , any conjunctival lesion except for pinguecula.
3. Disease of cornea that made it impossible to evaluate the
impact of the surgery on corneal curvature.
4. Previous ocular surgery within 6 months.
5. The zero or first stage pterygium.
6. Uncooperative patient with disturbed conscious level
7. Patient with other significant ocular surface diseases.
8. Patient not consenting for the study.
