Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients undergoing elective open abdominal oncology surgeries
  • Age 18-65 years, both gender
  • ASA Physical Status I, II and III

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patients who do not give consent for the study
  • Patients with ASA Physical Status IV and above
  • Patients with Body Mass Index (BMI) < 18.5 and > 35
  • Patients with moderate to severe derangements in Pulmonary Function Tests
  • Patients with pacemakers
  • Surgeries in which incision does not extend above the level of umbilicus
  • Surgeries lasting less than two hours
