- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Best possible representation of the current pain therapy care in German hospices, as part of basic epidemiological research
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The mean, standard deviation, minimum and maximum as well as the associated confidence intervals are calculated as descriptive measures. For non-normally distributed variables, the corresponding non-parametric position measurements are calculated (median, interquartile range).
Frequency differences are checked for significance with a Chi-square four-field test (for small cell populations using Fisher's exact test).
Dichotomous distributions are checked for significance using the point-to-point correlation coefficient.
As a correlation measure, the rank correlation coefficient (Spearman's Rho) is calculated and checked for significance.
The level of significance is set at alpha = 0.05.
Various cluster analyzes are to be carried out, e.g.
- by federal state
- by hospice type (children's or adult hospice)
- by type of medical care.
The evaluation should also make a comparison between the levels of evidence taken in the S3 guideline and the therapies implemented in practice.
