The immediate effects of autogenic drainage technique application on pulmonary function in patients with bronchiectasisBronchiectasisBronchiectasis is a chronic inflammation or infection of the bronchial tubes. The bronchial mucosa&#039s destruction leads to the deterioration of bronchial wall and become a permanent aneurysm. There is also an increase in the number of goblet cells, resulting in mucus generated or sputum. As a result, patients frequently develop a chronic cough. Chest physiotherapy is the important adjuvant treatment to facilitate removal of airway secretions.Autogenic DrainageLung function
