This study aims to investigate SERUM BIOMARKERS INCLUDING HMGB1 and TMAO for their role in Anxiety and Beta 2 microglobulin and claudin-5 as potential indicators of blood brain barrier disruption.YKL-40 Neuroinflammatory biomarker will be assesed to explore the contribution of neuroinflammation to both anxiety and mild cognitive impairment in T2DM.

入选标准
- •Inclusion criteria for T2DM
- •Patients attending medicine OPD who had chronic T2DM of more than 3 years.
- •Age 18-65 years
- •Gender (Males, Females, Other)
- •Willingness to provide informed consent
- •Patients suffering from T2DM related MCI assessed using MMSE and MoCA
- •Patients suffering from T2DM related anxiety assessed using HAM-A Inclusion criteria for Healthy Control
- •Patients having MMSE or MoCA scores more than 25
- •Patients without diagnosed T2DM, Anxiety and MCI and any other disease.
排除标准
- •Exclusion Criteria: 1.) Individuals with other comorbidities such as dementia, AD, etc.
- •2.) Clinical kidney or liver disease 3.) Current use of antibiotics or probiotics 4.) Pregnant and lactating females 5.) Patients with viral or bacterial infections.
