Inclusion Criteria
All adult patients undergoing thyroidectomy for benign or malignant disorders of the thyroid
Exclusion Criteria
1)Patients who chose not to participate in the study
2)Patients with associated parathyroid disorder
3)Patients in whom any of the biochemical parameters have not been checked
