Being between 18 and 45 years old
Willingness to participate in the study
Being married
Existence of clinical signs indicating candidiasis vaginitis
Positive wet smear for candida
Pregnancy
Breastfeeding
Abnormal uterine bleeding
Body mass index equal to or greater than 30
History of known chronic diseases: diabetes, weakened immune system, epilepsy, hypertension, etc.
History of recurrent candidiasis vulvovaginitis (4 or more than 4 times a year)
Existence of other vaginal infections with candidiasis
Taking oral contraceptive pills
Taking corticosteroids and antibiotics in the last 2 weeks
Taking systemic antifungal drugs in the last 4 weeks
Taking a cream, suppository or vaginal douche in the last 48 hours
History of allergy to clotrimazole
