Inclusion Criteria
German Language Skills at least level B1
A-Criterion PTSD (ICD-10)
Must own Smartphone (App-Group)
Hair at least 1cm
Exclusion Criteria
No sign of balding
Female: not currently pregnant or nursing
Currently no Cortison-based medication within the last six weeks
No somatic diseases that interfere with the study / parameters
No more than 15 cigarettes per day
Not currently working in shifts
No current jet lag

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method H0: no significant difference regarding complaints (PCL-5, PTCI, FDS, PHQ at t0 vs. t1/t2/t4) and quality of life (SF-8, PANAS, DERS at t0 vs. t1/t2/t4) PTSD patients who use the app as compared to those who do not (n = 52 per group).

Name Time Method H0: perceived efficiency of coping strategies (BriefCOPE at t0/t2) and self-rated symptom load do not correlate with biological stress markers (hair cortisol, endocannabinoids) from hair samples (n = 52 per group).
