- •2\. Patients must be considered as having inoperable/unresectable tumor, considered to be unfit for surgery and/or are unwilling for surgery.
- •3\. ECOG performance status less than or equal to 2\.
- •4\. Adequate baseline bone marrow, liver and renal functions as determined by routine standard\-of\-care tests.
- •5\. Patients being treated using VMAT technique.
- •6\. Willingness to participate in the study and provides a voluntary informed consent.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Metastatic disease at presentation.
- •2\. History of prior mediastinal/thoracic malignancy or condition that warranted irradiation or chemotherapy.
- •3\. Patients with tracheoesophageal fistula/bronchoesophageal fistula.
- •4\. Patients with active second malignancy.
- •5\. Uncontrolled co\-morbidities that would hamper the patientsâ?? adherence to treatment.
