Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Adults of either gender
  • 2\. Age between 18 to 65 years
  • 3\. Patients undergoing elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy
  • 4\. American Society of Anaesthesiologists Physical Status (ASA) I, II and III patients
  • 5\. BMI less than 35 kg/m2

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Anticipated anatomical or physiological difficult airway
  • 2\. Pregnant patients
  • 3\. Presence of significant acute or chronic lung disease
  • 4\. Presence of significant acute or chronic cardiac disease
  • 5\. Patient refusal to participate in study
