1. Type 2 diabetes mellitus of more than 2 years duration as diagnosed by physician based on clinical and medical examination.
2. HbA1c > among of between 6.5-10
3. Clinical measurement of low Medial Longitudinal Arch
4. Age 40-80 years
5. Both male and females
6. Diabetes controlled by oral medications only
1. Patients with lower extremity amputation of more than their toes
2. Current plantar ulcers
3. Patients with metal implants/pacemakers
4. Obese patients(BMI greater than or equal to 30)
5. Peripheral neuropathy(inability to sense a 5.07 Semmes Weinstein monofilament on atleast one location on the plantar foot
6. Lower limb orthopaedic and neurological disorders, diseases affecting foot structures such as joint pathology, congenital vertical talus, cerebral palsy
7. Type 1 Diabetes mellitus
8. Must not have practiced physical exercises with professional guidance in the last 2 months preceding the start of the program.
9. Agreed not to do other kinds of physical exercises with professional guidance in addition to those on the program during the study and maintain their usual diets throughout the intervention period
