Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • German as mother tongue, monolingual language acquisition
  • \- No impaired hearing
  • \- No impaired vision
  • \- legally effective, written declaration of consent of the respondent to participate in the study
  • Additional inclusion criteria for control subjects:
  • \- no psychiatric pre\-diagnosis
  • \- no currently present psychiatric disease
  • \- no current psychotropic medication or consumption of illegal substances
  • Additional inclusion criteria for persons diagnosed with schizophrenia:
  • \- Diagnosis of schizophrenia (according to ICD.10 F20\.0\)

Exclusion Criteria

  • \- Minors and persons over 65 years of age
  • \- Current or previous diagnosis of psychiatric or neurological disease, but not ICD\-10 F20\.0 (schizophrenia)
  • \- Limited vision
  • \- Hearing impaired
  • \- Other relevant somatic disease
  • \- Mother tongue other than German or bilingual language acquisition
  • \- Acute suicidal behaviour, self\-endangering or risky for others: for patients CDSS Item 8: Suicidal behaviour \= 2
  • \- Missing legally effective declaration of consent, persons who are not legally capable and persons in official or judicial custody (PsychKG, BTG)
