入选标准

  • •People suffering from unilateral or bilateral osteoarthritis of the knee (symptomatic or asymptomatic) that has been medically diagnosed () osteoarthritis of the knee (according to ICD-10 polyarthrosis M.15, osteoarthritis of the knee M17)

排除标准

  • •- Patients who are on a waiting list for a total joint replacement of the knee, who already have a firm appointment for such a surgery, or whose affected knee joint has already been replaced
  • •- uncertainty regarding eligibility for physical training and no physician's consent regarding eligibility for physical training. Risk stratification by the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q)
  • •- The presence of other pain problems associated with subjectively more severe pain than the knee pain
  • •- Addictive behavior to opioids (or other pain medications)
  • •- Presence of relevant secondary diagnoses, which include the following: Neurological disorders (e.g., multiple sclerosis, post-stroke condition, or Parkinson's disease), Rheumatic diseases (e.g. rheumatoid arthritis or fibromyalgia), Unstable health condition (e.g., cancer, dialysis, or acute trauma), Cognitive impairment (e.g., dementia), Serious psychological illness (e.g., major depression)
