Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Elective lower segment caesarean section
- •2\.Under subarachnoid block
- •3\.Age 18 to 35 years
- •4\.Singleton pregnancy
- •5\.more than or equal to 37 weeks period of gestation
- •6\.Participants who give consent
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Non consenting participant
- •2\.Emergency caesarean section
- •3\.Intraoperative and postoperative complications such as gastrointestinal injury, genitourinary tract injury, and postpartum hemorrhage
- •4\.Duration of surgery more than 60 mins
- •5\.Previous LSCS
- •6\.Previous history of bowel injury or surgery
- •7\.Patients having any comorbidity
