Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Elective lower segment caesarean section
  • •2\.Under subarachnoid block
  • •3\.Age 18 to 35 years
  • •4\.Singleton pregnancy
  • •5\.more than or equal to 37 weeks period of gestation
  • •6\.Participants who give consent

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Non consenting participant
  • •2\.Emergency caesarean section
  • •3\.Intraoperative and postoperative complications such as gastrointestinal injury, genitourinary tract injury, and postpartum hemorrhage
  • •4\.Duration of surgery more than 60 mins
  • •5\.Previous LSCS
  • •6\.Previous history of bowel injury or surgery
  • •7\.Patients having any comorbidity
