1. Patients with Systemic Sclerosis with a duration of less than 3 years from the first non-Raynauds symptom, classified as per ACR-EULAR 2013 classification criteria
2.Between 18-65 years of age.
3.No use of lipid-lowering medication within last 6 months.
1.Pregnancy
2.Renal dysfunction
3.Diabetes mellitus
4.Known cardiovascular disease or a prior history of stroke
5.History of liver disease
6.New or changed dose of calcium channel blockers or angiotensin receptor blocker in the last 4 weeks
7.known allergy or adverse reaction to statins.
8.Smoking
9.Overlap syndromes.
10.Patients with digital gangrene despite being on Calcium Channel Blockers and/or Phosphodiesterase inhibitors.
