Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients with symptoms of Prameha as per Ayurvedic classics and Type 2 diabetes mellitus as per modern medicine
- •Age group between 30 to 60 years
- •HbA1c value will 6.5 percentage or above
- •Patients taking Biguanides group anti-diabetic drugs
- •Fasting blood sugar level within 150 mgdl and Post prandial blood sugar within 250 mgdl
Exclusion Criteria
- •HbA1c values will less than 6.5 percentage
- •Patients taking other than Biguanides group anti diabetic drugs
- •Patients of Insulin dependent diabetes mellitus
- •Diabetes due to Endocrinopathies for eg Pheochromocytoma Acromegaly Cushing syndrome
- •Drugs or chemical induced diabetes mellitus eg Glucocorticoids thyroid hormone Thiazide Phenytoin etc
- •Patients with other systemic complication like cardiovascular nephropathic diseases etc
