Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Patients with symptoms of Prameha as per Ayurvedic classics and Type 2 diabetes mellitus as per modern medicine
  • •Age group between 30 to 60 years
  • •HbA1c value will 6.5 percentage or above
  • •Patients taking Biguanides group anti-diabetic drugs
  • •Fasting blood sugar level within 150 mgdl and Post prandial blood sugar within 250 mgdl

Exclusion Criteria

  • •HbA1c values will less than 6.5 percentage
  • •Patients taking other than Biguanides group anti diabetic drugs
  • •Patients of Insulin dependent diabetes mellitus
  • •Diabetes due to Endocrinopathies for eg Pheochromocytoma Acromegaly Cushing syndrome
  • •Drugs or chemical induced diabetes mellitus eg Glucocorticoids thyroid hormone Thiazide Phenytoin etc
  • •Patients with other systemic complication like cardiovascular nephropathic diseases etc
  • •Basti Anarha
