Inclusion Criteria

HbA1C greater than equal to 8%.

Exclusion Criteria
  • Proliferative retinopathy (PDR) 2.
  • Chronic kidney disease (stage 4,5 and on renal replacement therapy) 3.
  • Coronary artery disease (CAD) with symptoms of angina or angina equivalent 4.
  • Congestive Heart failure with NHYA class 3 and 4 5.
  • Severe painful neuropathy and/or foot ulcers 7.
  • Pregnant women 8.
  • Practitioners of yoga in the past 3 months.
