Patients with episodic LBP in the past 12 months and a high risk of chronification (assessed by means of the Start Back Screening Tool). Episodic pain is considered as back pain that is not chronic (occurring almost daily for at least three months).
Physiotherapists with at least three years of professional experience, that are currently working in the physiotherapeutic praxis for at least 15 hours per week and frequently treat patients with LBP (at least once per week).
Failure to meet the inclusion criteria will result in exclusion. Patients with structural pathologies (e.g. infections, tumors, osteoporosis, fractures or deformities of the lumbar spine, inflammatory diseases, radiculopathies or cau-da equina syndrome) are excluded.
Patients with insufficient German language skills that do not allow the reflection and expression of individual beliefs and complex thoughts in an interview will be excluded.
