- •Normal population: healthy male and female subjects between 18\-30 years of age without previous cardiovascular disease, normal weight, i.e. BMI \<25 kg/m2
- •Subjects with specially operated aortic coarctation: male and female subjects between 18\-30 years of age who had aortic coarctation surgery in the Department of Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Intensive Care Medicine at Ludwig\-Maximilians\-Universität, or who are undergoing follow\-up care there, subclavian\-flap technique only
- •Subjects with aortic coarctation surgery: male and female subjects between 18\-30 years of age who had aortic coarctation surgery at the Department of Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Intensive Care at Ludwig\-Maximilians\-University, or who are undergoing follow\-up care there, no subclavian flap technique

- •Other serious diseases of the cardiovascular system (e.g. heart failure, cardiac arrhythmia, arteriosclerosis, PAD), metabolic diseases (e.g. lipid metabolism disorder requiring therapy, hypercholesterolemia, diabetes mellitus type 1 and 2\), sudden cardiac death in the family
