Inclusion Criteria
1) Children should be between 6-9 years of age.
2) Patient requiring local anesthesia (block) in
either maxilla or mandible for various dental
procedures
3) Co-operative patients (Frankelâ??s III or IV)
4) Healthy patient satisfying the criteria of ASA
physical status I
Exclusion Criteria
1) Children who refuse to participate in the
study.
2) Children suffering from any systemic disease.
3) Highly uncooperative children.
4) Patient with history of abscess, redness and
fistula at the injection site.
Patients with Aichmophobia(Needle fear)
Patient who do not like sweet taste.
