Patients scheduled for elective off-pump coronary artery bypass surgery
1) patient refusal
2) allergy to local anesthetics
3) Localized infection
4) Coagulopathy/Bleeding diathesis/Patients on anticoagulants
5) Emergency conversion to On-pump surgery
6) spinal deformities
7) Left main coronary artery disease
8) Left Ventricular ejection fraction less than 40%
9) Cognitive impairment or active psychiatric condition
10) Inability to understand pain scoring
11) Emergency surgery
12) Re-do surgery
13) Re-exploration within 24 hours
14) Extubation after 6 hours of surgery
