- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To investigate energy and protein intake in general wards during the post intensive care period [expressed in kilocalories and grams per day and per kilogram bodyweight, adjusted for overweight, and as a percentage of calculated targets [%], averaged over the study days].
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method -To assess differences in energy and protein intake between patients on oral, enteral, parenteral or combined nutrition; expressed in kilocalories and grams per day and per kilogram bodyweight, and as a percentage of calculated targets [%];
-To assess differences in energy and protein intake after feeding tube removal expressed in kilocalories and grams per day and per kilogram bodyweight, and as a percentage of calculated targets [%];
-To assess differences in energy and protein intake between wards of different specialisms expressed in kilocalories and grams per day and per kilogram bodyweight, and as a percentage of calculated targets [%];
-To assess hospital LOS [in days] and mortality [%] (both after ICU discharge) in relation with energy and protein targets reached.
