unilateral indwelling ureteral stent
adults age ≥18 years
Exclusion Criteria
patients with metallic stent / ureteral strings attached
urinary tract obstruction due to malignancy
patients who are pregnant
patients with transplanted kidney or reconstructed urinary system
patients where a ureteric stent was inserted after open renal procedures
