Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Type 2 Diabetes mellitus patients to be initiated with basal\-bolus insulin regimen or premixed insulin regimen as antidiabetic therapy, uncontrolled on diet and lifestyle modifications and oral antidiabetics. Willing to provide written informed consent.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Receiving medications that interfere with blood sugar level, ie steroids.
- •2\. Pregnant or lactating mothers
- •3\. Chronic liver / renal impairment
- •4\. Acutely ill patients
- •5\. Physically unfit / unable to follow up
- •6\. Unstable hemodynamics \- admitted in IC
