Inclusion Criteria
1.Clinical signs and/or symptoms of endophthalmitis with special reference to four ocular tissues (cornea, anterior chamber, iris, and vitreous; Table 1); post-operative or post trauma endophthalmitis within 6 weeks of the diagnosis.
2.Visual acuity from <6/18 to light perception; and written signed consent.
3.Culture positive endophthalmitis
4.Definite clinical evidence of no worsening after first two antibiotic injections
Exclusion Criteria
1.Culture negative endophthalmitis
2.Chronic/delayed-onset endophthalmitis
3.h/o glaucoma
4.h/o previous documented steroid response
